study of varying wind speed

I am trying to observe effect of wind speed variation on power generation by wind generator (DFIG), but after changing speed by huge amount, there is very negligible variation in power generation. I am changing value of initial wind speed during simulation to change wind speed. Is it the correct way?

I think this is not a right way to change the initial wind in order to alter the wind speed in dynamic simulation. The initial values are calculated through the power flow results. And in PSS/E there is no wind model in general model library. You should defined it by yourself.
