2020-04-08 04:52:42 -0500 commented question How to reduce the mismatch after doing OPF?

My steps are : first :made the subsystem doing OPF with loss reduction(active & reactive) →mismatch:30~40MVA second:if i run a normal load flow calculation with FNSL →mismatch<0.1MVA I think the second step will loss the objective, although it made the system balance.

Yes, if I run the normal load flow calculation with FNSL after OPF, the mismatch will be declined. So is it normal with a large mismatch after OPF?

So you mean i don't really need to care about the system mismatch?

2020-04-08 03:05:33 -0500 asked a question How to reduce the mismatch after doing OPF?

I am doing OPF with loss reduction(active & reactive) as the objective, and my control are round switched shunt and transformer tap ratios

But after that, the report shows that my system mismatch is large = 30~40MVA, i'm wondering know how to reduce the mismatch after doing OPF?

thanks!

Yeah, thanks. I have this two files. I'm wondering know whether there is other files which relate to OPF description or not.

hello,

does anyone have PSS/E OPF Manual? I'm very urgently need it. i can't find in PSS/E Docs, please help.

thanks a lot !!

Hello everyone,

I wondering know how to calculate power factor in PSS/E? and if there is a branch has line outage, may I adjust the switched shunt(capacitor/reactor) to solve this problem?

thank you!:))

Hello everyone,

i want to know what is the difference between DC contingency & AC contingency, except the DC contingency don't consider the reactive power part.

thanks a lot for answering my question.
