Hi,

I am new to PSSE and I am unsure what the error message below means.

2455 diagonal and 3512 off-diagonal elements FLOW1 BUS 0 NOT FOUND--CIRCUIT 0 FROM 0 TO 0 NO SMF INPUT SIGNAL FOR CHSVCT AT BUS 16020 [HIGH LV6 15.000] FLOW1 BUS 0 NOT FOUND--CIRCUIT 0 FROM 0 TO 0 NO SMF INPUT SIGNAL FOR CHSVCT AT BUS 17054 [ARCENC2 15.000]

There are two switched shunts at buses 16020 and 17054 using dynamics model CHSVCT. It seems like the supplemental modulation function (SMF) is activated with ICON(I+1), but there is no branch defined in ICON(I+2) to ICON(I+4).

The error message is harmless, it just informs that the SDM control is not active. Try to change ICON(I+1) to 0 to disable the control.

Thank you for the advice, it makes sense as all the values for ICON except the 'External bus number of remotely regulated bus' is 0. Though ICON(I+1) is already 0 when this error occurs, so I am not sure what to do from there.
