Hi everyone,

In my study, I am going to carry out simulation in IEEE39 system with integration of three DFIG wind farms, but every time I initialize my case the printer output many INITIAL CONDITIONS SUSPECTs :

 INITIAL CONDITIONS SUSPECT:

I have tried many times of modifying the parameters of excitation, DFIGs and generators, but that not really worked.

Actually, if I just integrate one or two DFIGs, the initial conditions are ok. But I don't know what goes wrong when I integrate the three or more.

My raw and dyr files are attached on https://drive.google.com/file/d/1S8aawbNKoH7fSPdjN6Qu5IMQR2_ad0Ch/view?usp=sharing

Thank you in advance, any help will be appreciated

There are a few issues with your data set. The generator model GENTRA is included in PSS®E solely for compatibility with older stability analysis programs that used its level of representation; its use is not recommended by PTI. Mach 39 is missing its exciter model. Power dispatch of the wind unit are above their Pmax. Models "WT3xx" are being replaced with "RExCA" as recommended by NERC, PTI, others.

I suggest you work incrementally, making sure that the case without wind is free from major issues. Add one wind plant at a time, run a simulation, record all activities in a log file and verify that major issues do not appear. I did work on my version of the IEEE39 network, added three renewable plants and after a few adjustment, able to produce a good 'no-disturbance' run.

The following link will takes you to my google drive public folder "PowerSystem", select "Dynamic Networks" which contains the upated IEEE39 system. Click on the zip file icon, and then click on the downloading icon on top. Follow the instructions in the ieee39_readme.txt file to produce simulations with or without wind plants.
