Hi all,

I have a set of GE wind models for PSSE v33 that are not compatible with PSSE v35.5. I am seeking any references or documentation regarding these models in version 33. Could you please assist me in mapping these models to their corresponding versions in PSSE v35.5?

The list of GE models for PSSE v33 includes: GEWPLT2, GEWTT1, GEWTG2, GEWTE2, GEWTA2, GEWTP2, GEWGD1

The list of GE models for PSSE v35.5 includes: GEWTECU1, GEWTPTU1, GEWTARU1, GEWT2MU1, GEWTGCU1, GEWTGDU1

Any guidance or references you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Try DOCU to get ICON & CON descriptions. Try requesting psse_gewt_w600.exe from PTI, which *might* contain those models.

Firstly, this task will require a significant amount of time and effort, as it falls within the developer's scope—in our case, GE. The developer needs to update the code and DLL.

Understand DLL and DYR in a dynamic context – Gain a clear understanding of what a DLL (Dynamic Link Library) is, as well as the concept of DYR in a dynamic environment. Gather full documentation and establish a methodology – Obtain comprehensive documentation and create a structured methodology to work with each DLL effectively. Develop a generic model – Attempt to create a generic model that closely approximates the behavior and functionality of the DLL.
