Stability analysis for PV and Wind

Technical Question:

During performing stability analysis on network with synchronous generators, we carry-out rotor angle stability by simulating a fault on a busbar in proximity to a power plant, trip a line and clear the fault after certain time then we plot the power angle versus time to see if the generator will maintain synchronism or not. What is the case concerning PV or wind plants - what is the procedures for checking stability and what values or parameters we have to monitor. I need to understand the dynamic stability for the renewables. Thank you in advance.
