i got this error "No type 3 (swing) bus in the network"..How to solve it???

assign a generator bus as tupe 3 bus preferably the generator bus having highest generating capacity

Another criteria is to select the generator, among the largest, with the largest spin reserve (Pmax-Pgen). Once its type is changed to 3, solve a loadflow and check that it remains within limits in P and Q.

If you are doing a study involving DC lines, PSSE also requires to have a swing bus on the either side of a HVDC terminal.

Not true! Both terminals may be in the same AC-system. You need one swing bus in each separate AC-system.
