Hi, I am looking for resources or guidance on how to tune generic wind plant models (e.g., REECA1, REPCA1, REGCA1) so that their dynamic response reasonably matches PSCAD/EMTP or PSSE UDM model results.

I have already performed several dynamic studies, but so far I have not been involved in tuning the generic models. I would like to learn how to properly approach this tuning process.

Any recommended documentation, examples, or practical advice would be appreciated.

The Model User Guide for Generic Renewable Energy System Models by EPRI is a good starting point for turning the generic models in general. However, matching them to a specific UDM would require either a lot of trial and error, or the documentation of that UDM to have a better idea of its parameters and how they map to generic model
