Convergence issues with RE integration study on Kundur's system.

If anyone is aware with the topology of Kundur's system, I replaced one of the large sync generators in Area 2 at Bus 4 with a wind machine of similar capacity. I added dynamic models REGCA1, REECB1, and REPCA1 for that machine. However, using these models on Kundur's 2-area system (or even REECA1 instead of REECB1) leads to failure in convergence for any fault for any duration. That is not the case with conventional models. There are no suspects in initial conditions and it is OK. Is it because Kundur's system is not feasible for a large-scale RE integration study or are additional models required for wind integration? Below are the parameters used for the dynamic model for gen at bus 4.
