Hi, I'm new to PSS/E. I'm trying dynamic solution with IEEE 39 bus system. while I'm uploading the .dyr file it's showing DYRE Terminated--system model requires too many STAT. So, its not initializing properly. Can anyone help me with it?

Comments

1) Please check whether you convert the file in advance, some process needed to be done so as you could do the dynamic simulation. 2) Just suggestion, you could paste your warning text on forum, so the experts (not me) here could help you directly.

I have tried with IEEE9 , it kinda works fine but after clearing the fault for dynamic solution do i need to initialize again because the dynamic solution is not running after clearing the fault. and for IEEE 39 the error is still showing up.

Do you have a student version ? I had this issue back in the day as only a limited number of states can be computed by psse in student version. If that is the case reduce the number of controllers or go for simpler models.

How can i get the paid version?

Try a run with a smaller system (IEEE9 or IEEE14) to check if your overall set up works ok. It could be a bad installation of PSSe or too many models in the dyr than it is allowed.

Download the ieee9 data set from my google site "https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B7uS9L2Woq_7YzYzcGhXT2VQYXc?resourcekey=0-bpLQBcwBAF--UAZ1tqeESQ&usp=drive_link". It runs ok. Follows instructions in readme file.
