I find a funny thing:

1. I do the dynamic simulation, apply bus disturbance. The result show me, bus 2 voltage is 0.719 pu.

2. After first simulation, I do another simulation, with same dyr & sav file, I choose a different Channel output file and Initialize it. Without apply any bus distrubance, the bus 2 voltage is still 0.719pu...?

It is normal for PSSE? How to avoid this issue? Thank you very much.

I am using the for loop to do the dynamic simulation. However, I find from second loop, there is some error for the result. My colleague tells me if I can clear the VAR value every time, it should be fine. Can anyone tell me how to clear VAR value through python? Thank you very much.

I build a SMIB to do the dynamic simulation.

During the simulation, I need to apply a Voltage dip(from 1PU to 0.7PU) at 2s for the point of connection (for example bus 4).

If I don't use the playback model, how can I implement the Voltage dip? Is it possibel to apply the Bus Fault? Thank you very much.

I only have the PSS/E Explor V34. So I can't use playback model. I was told it is possible to use GENCLS & SEXS model to build the SMIB to do the frequency & voltage response test? Is it correct? Does anyone know know how to do these or any helpful document? Thank you very much.

I have the playback mode V33, when I load it to PSS/E explor 34.3.2, there is an error "Messages for api ADDMODELLIBRARY Library not found (000281)". Can anyne share this model? Thank you very much.

Thank you very much. Playback model is very useful. However, I still don't know how to implement the voltage dip on 2-phase and single-phase. For my understand, change the parameter of the model, it will implement 3-phase voltage dip, but how can we implement 2-phase and single-phase voltage dip?

I am studying a paper by myself. In that paper, some testings has been done which includes Deep voltage dip on 3-phase, 2- phase and single-phase, Medium voltage dip on 3-phase, 2-phase and single-phase & Shallow voltge dip on 3-phase, 2-phase and single-phase from Test 01 to Test 09.

I believe these fault apply to POC bus.

I try to follow the answer from "How to create a P-Q curve of the solar farm", but I fail to plot the D-curves. Can I ask, to plot the D-Curves, I need to do the Power Flow or Dynamic analysis? Is there any material about how to plot D-Curves? Thank you very much.

Now I create a SMIB to the solar inverter to test the inverter model. However, the voltage and current is very strange. As a result, I want check the model itself. Is there any method to get the Model VARS value curve during the Dynamic Simulation such as bus voltage?

Another question is, how can I get the bus frequency value in HZ? Thank you very much.

I already build the SMIB to the power generation. My generator is connected to the step up transformer and then connect to the SMIB. I already set the Sbase, Pmax, Pmin, Qmax, Qmin. By changing Pgen, I can get different Q gen value. However, the result is not good enough, because

1. when I already set the Pgen to Pmax, there is still some Qgen which is positive (Pmax = Sbase). For my understand, when Pgen = Pmax = Sbase, it means the generator can't produce any reactive power.

2. I can't only get the half D-curves. I try to change the power factor, but I can't find how to change it.

Is it possible to get the full D-curves from GUI? Thank you very much.

Right now, I am trying using PSSE GUI to create a P-Q curve for the solar farm. I already build the SMIB which is connect to transformer and the generator. However, what is the next step to get the data for create the P-Q curve(to confirm the Reactive Power Capability of the solar inverter) of the generator?

Does anyone know what is the reason?
