I used the Governor Response Simulation on PSSe for one bus number and I want to extract the data to excel file (I use the tool from PSSe outfile.out). However, the data inside the outfile.out is errored . Forexample: @SPD BUS 25251 MACHINE '1 ' PMEC BUS 25251 MACHINE '1 ' 2019 YEAR 100 % LOAD (90542MW) CASE ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,2013 KEPCO POWER SYSTEM PLANNING DATA,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, @뎵댘 삕? @뎵?X옜틞? @썦>뗇L?k? @軸n>꾛쑜?? @#"?0꺯팊? @盖?n?펷z? @sw?I?폃? @?撈G폋1? @bf&?@?폏?? @떻;??꺖?? @ Q?(쳫??? @^ff??쑝.?? @꼇{?!㎘폍?? @깉??Ъ2?? @-3?퍥갸둴)?

Does anyone know to fix this error? Please help me solved this case. Thank you so much

Looks like the problem is not the channel data, but the channel label. It looks like the label has unicdoe chars? By "KEPCO POWER SYSTEM", I assuming Korean chars are in the label. You either need to fix the encoding in xl manually or change all chars to ASCII safe chars.

do you know how to encode the Korean chars ? or adding font for PSSE ? is there anyway to do that ?

I suggest you to have a look at https://superuser.com/questions/280603/how-to-set-character-encoding-when-opening-excel . UTF-8 usually is very good at handling CJK chars. PSSE can't do it as I know. Whenever you see funny chars, it's usually a enconding problem
