How to Model Solar Battery Storage System in PSSE?

Hi Guys,

I want to use Battery Energy Storage System in my Solar resources included power network. I have seen in this Forum that somebody suggested to use Generator as BESS where the reactance has to be higher. My query is, how high the reactance has to be? And what about the other power ratings and parameters of that generator? How I'll have to connect it with rest of the network? What will be the characteristics of the generator acting as a BESS which will define it as a battery?

Sorry for too many basic questions. It'd be a really great help.

See the posting "Example .dyr data for BESS" for a demo data set to model BESS. You can add a PV model at the same bus of the BESS. Also, search this forum for BESS and or PV plants.
