Hi,

How is it possible to change system base MVA in existing PSSE sav case? It seems that there is no python method for that.

You can export your .sav file as .raw, Then edit the first line from 100.00 to your new Base MVA. Keep in mind that all Impedances need to reflect your new Base MVA.

0, 100.00, 33, 0, 1, 60.00 / RAW FILE FIRST LINE

Please note it is necessary to recalculate branch R,X,B and line shunts as well as transformer impedance (in system base) to the new base MVA.

You can import your system (.raw) file into powerworld to change the base MVA, and export it back in .raw file for PSSE
