Can I simulate generator exciter fault in dynamic analysis?
Loss of excitation may be simulated by forcing Efd to 0 by changing field voltage maximum and minimum voltage with API changeplmodcon:
psspy.change_plmod_con(211,'1','SCRX',5,0.0)
psspy.change_plmod_con(211,'1','SCRX',6,0.0)
In this simulation EFD is set to zero at time=1 s.
