How to describe a load with time-varying active power by Python in PSS/E simulation? I want to make a test,that I want some of the load,may be one of the load that its active power is time varying in the dynamic simulation,How can I do ,Could you tell me how to write the Python script for this PSS/E simulation? Depends on the characteristic of the time-varying load, there could be two ways to implement in dynamics simulation. If it is a very simple piece-wise loads (active power vs time), then just altr the load at specific time. If the load is a complex function of time, then the best way is to write a user defined model for the load.

"to vary the load demand through the day" would not be suitable for dynamic simulation (10 to 30 sec time-domain simulation). It seems yours is a steady-state process with load values being updated every so often for a day. BTW Some wind models allows simulations of gust-wind periods.
