2017-05-23 10:44:20 -0500 | commented question | Complex load model did not converge What do you mean with "how"? I chose the parameter according to the recommendation in "Understanding and solving short-term voltage stability problems" by J.A. Diaz de Leon ; C.W. Taylor in PES GM 2002. |
2017-05-21 16:14:21 -0500 | asked a question | Complex load model did not converge Hi, I'm doing dynamic simulations of a line fault in the 14 Bus system. I'm using the CLOD load model. However, at a specific load level, I receive the output "Complex Load did not converge" shortly after applying the fault resulting in oscillations of almost all signals. Is this a numerical issue or is it "normal" ,i.e. related to the instability of the system? And if numerical, how can I avoid this? |
2017-05-19 04:20:13 -0500 | commented answer | Return to Dynamics terminated--system model requires too many I have a similar problem... You wrote it is related to the untuned load model, however, how do I tune the load model then? searching for NERC LMTF did unfortunately not help with finding anything on this... |
