In PV analysis what exactly is meant by incremental MW transfer. Is it general load increase in sink through increase in 'lambda' or the equivalent load at every bus considered for monitoring?
In texts we have studied PV curves for a 2 bus system, where the voltage and the P-load at one of the buses is considered for plotting PV curve. But in a meshed system having multiple areas and zones, we select a source and a sink. What exactly does PSSE increase as the x-axis component for PV-curve that is termed as incremental MW transfer. What is that quantity or parameter that is changed to find the voltage at a particular bus?
