I was simulating an wind farm connecting to a very large grid with a VSC-HVDC line, using vsdct model. The wind farm itself is 600 MW, and because it's islanded I have to set it as swing bus. And every time I run dynamic simulation, the initialization part is fine, but immediately after, the said wind farm will have the error "wt4e2 internal dc-link exceeds iteration 100", and the output channel of it will just be empty. The *.dyr parameter for vscdct is based on a paper I found so it should be correct I think, and the parameter of the wind farm is also from other grid data. I've also tried adding a conventional generator in the island as swing bus, but the dc-link is still not converging. I'm not as familiar with PSSE so I'm not sure what should I do to attempt to solve this problem. Is it that I need to change the wind model parameters, or is it maybe essentially a problem from the steady state part and I need to change stuffs like transformer parameters, or maybe a control clash between wind farm and HVDC line?
