Is it possible to use someone else's dsusr.dll file?

I'm trying to replicate a stability run someone else performed using all of their files. They provided a dsusr.dll files and other associated .dll files because I don't have a compiler. It would also be difficult for me to get a compiler. I'm not able to initialize the case and I'm trying to figure out why.

Is there any reason why using someone else's dsusr.dll file wouldn't work on my machine? We're both using PSS/e version 34.9.

As @jconto pointed out, check if there are any messages in progress window at initialisation regarding missing code for used dynamic models.

As best as I could tell I wasn't missing any .dll files. Would the progress window say if I was missing any .lib or .irf files that go with the .dll files??

Yes. For example: BUS 101 [NUC-A 21.600] MC 1 USER DEFINED MACHINE MODEL "XXXXXX" NOT ACCESSIBLE.

Once you have a complete set of dll used by the other party, compiled for the same PSSe version both are using, then you should be able to run stability from your side. Make sure no other dll file is missing! [this is the way we share dynamic data sets in my region.]
