TIOCR1 Rely modelling

PSSE has one Relay model called TICOR1 for overcurrent relay-based tripping and load shedding in their model list.

I would like to use this feature for overload-based tripping feature during dynamic for branches (Lines/ICTs).

I want to model the following

400 kV Line A-B circuit 1 is to be monitored for overloading

Logic is if its loading exceeds 2500 Amps (10 pu on 100 MVA Base) for 5 seconds (definite time, 250 cycles) then 50 % trip load connected from Bus A and trip this line and parallel circuit 2 immediately.

How to implement the same through this relay.

We could not find any explanation and how to implement a definite time feature through this line relay.

Can someone explain to me how to set up.

Model TIOCR1 is a time inverse relay. You want to use it with definite time of 5 s. See description in manual Program Application Guide, vol II, Chapter 20.9.

Try with same multiple (1 pu of threshold current) for all four current points defining the time inverse curve. Use 5 s for all relay closing times.
