Hi there,

Is there any good resource that talks about the dynamic models, e.g., GENROU, TGOV1, etc., in detail? I have read PSS/E manuals, but they don't provide in-depth knowledge.

Thank you.

The WECC has pretty good resources on the internet. Also googling these models will help find other sources. Dynamics and controls books can help with fundamentals.

I also have the same question. It's interesting that in Chapter 3 of the Users Manual, I can find the definitions for *.raw data. However, there is nowhere describing the *.dyr file. This really drives me crazy.

The syntax for the DYR-file is described for each model in manual "Model Library"
