Our Line of Business involves using PSS/E simulator extensively. Many of my Teams are involved in running high-end Dynamic Models. Of late we are finding difficulty because of limited number of machines and inefficient machine configurations. And this is impacting our Business. We are planning to procure some high end server to enable our Team to continue with their work uninterrupted. Basically we are trying to achieve what is shown in the image below. Can you please let us know if this is achievable. If so then what is the right machine configuration you advice.

Search this forum for my tool, MPjobs, designed to run multiple PSSE instances (dynamic runs in particular) to maximize the use of available CPUs in your pc. We use it in servers with 48 cores. Search also for 'parallel' to find related postings.

On a larger concept, search the internet for distributed processing frameworks, or even cloud computing (but I do not know if someone has applied it to run PSSe dynamic runs).

There are no images, but you can use multiprocessing.Pool to have N threads in PSSE. I haven't yet used that for dynamic calculations, but it works fine with power flow calculation. You just need to initialize each calculation's PSSE entity separately.
