When I compile a fortran code to DLL in Visual Studio 2010 using as basis the project template given by PTI in the dsuser folder PSS/E doesn't seem to go through the code in it.
However when I use the environment manager to compile the exact same code PSS/E reads the DLL without any issue.
Thus, please can you help me understanding what is causing this difference in results?

Hello, If I follow the instructions in the PSS/E 34.5 POM manual chapter 1.4.6 it will give the necessary guidance to compile successfuly a DLL that is able to be run by PSS/E 33 or 34.

Same issue. Using v.33.12.1 and with already tested data, the compile.bat + cload4.bat files process did not create a dll while using the environment manager, it did. Once the ddl file was created, the simulation run OK. But both methods worked OK when using v.33.10!!!
I will let PTI explain why this is happening.
Hello, jconto, thank you for the advice. Unfortunately I don't have access to version 33,10 only to 33,12. However, I have learned that the instructions in the POM of PSS/E version 34 explains how to do it and it worked for me. Thank you very much for your help.
