I would like to calculate the transmission line parameters using TMLC or LineProp. I was wondering if there modules are add-ons and should be paid for. I couldn't figure out how to open or use these modules? Please help.

I am currently using PSSE version 33.5.02. I would like to calculate the transmission line parameters using TMLC or LineProp. I was wondering if there modules are add-ons and should be paid for. I couldn't figure out how to open or use these modules. I tried reading the manual and stuff. But it was not much help. Whenever I type in TMLC it gives an error. Tried it on different computers.

Also, I was wondering if these modules have the capability to calculate the parameters for 2 parallel circuits. One 230 and one 500 kV circuit on two separate towers and separated by a distance of about 20 meters.

Any help will be appreciated.

You need a separate license for TMLC and LineProp; they are not included in standard PSSE.

Both programs are able to calculate the parameters for parallel circuits.
