Hello friends, I am using cim5bl model for my dynamic studying. When I check DOCU for the model parameters, I get the notice as following:

*Model CIM5BL Bus 6 [10BBA 10.000] Load "4 " :
 Derived constant T" = 0.0031, outside of range > 0.0400 and < 0.2
 Derived constant X = 2.8900, outside of range > 0.0 and < 2.5
Model CIM5BL is applied to bus 6 [10BBA 10.000] using load identifier "4"

How can I solve this problem? Trying to find out a formula about T'' and X but failed. I appreciate your answer and thank you so much!

Please check out the section below (PSSE33) in PVAG2.pdf in PSSE folder. It has formulas to calculate T'' and X from Xa, Xm, X1, X2, w0 and R2.

20.2.6.0.1 Data Conversion From One Model Representation to Another.

Thanks Cao Huy for your useful info. I found the solution couple days ago and now I am dealing with another problem. When I do the process for studying a dynamic case, no fault in DOCU and Initialization checking, even passed RUN step but when I open the .out file, PSSE has been "No responding" and I can not see the result. Could you or somebody give me your experience in this case? What is your processing for checking error in my situation? Thanks in advance!

You may want to check time step of your simulation. Sometimes. when I use simulation time step which isn't small enoungh (maybe bigger than a particular time constant of models), the output files I got has nothing. To modify your time step, click on dynamic solution parameter on dynamic toolbar.

Btw, would you mind tell me how did you deal with the problem? What parameter did you adjust?

I know about the proportional relation between them, so I adjusted reactance values to satisfy the requirements (because my input data some way are wrong when I got it). I will try your advice with my problem now. Thanks a lot!

Hi Cao Huy, thought that I should cheer you a beer! It works when I try with your advice and now the result display very very clearly. Actually I ve met this trouble once and found the solution but I forgot that at the moment until you remind me about the time step. Once again, thanks so much!
