need good reference to learn PSSE

i'm new user of PSSE, and i want simulate my research which related with solar power using PSSE

firstly, i need reference to learn more about PSSE, can any one tell me good reference for my case ??

i need that manual, or u mean the "PSS Help" i already searched in the internet about PSS manual, but unfortunately i couldn't find it

PSSE can do a lot of things - load flow, dynamics, contingency, OPF, short circuit etc. Also it is not clear do you have your network in psse format already - if you need to build your network from scratch - could be not easy task for beginner as well. And PSSE manuals are really large...good luck:)

Manual is the best resource !

(otherwise expert users' guidance or training from PTI )

No book in public domain available!!!

P.S. Manual/Documentation is available in PSSE/PTI installtion folder like C:\Program Files (x86)\PTI\PSSE33\DOCS or C:\Program Files\PTI\PSSE33\DOCS

The Manual contains a lot of information, but it is not meant to be "a step by step", user-friendly type of thing. trust me, I have worked for PTI and used PSS/E since 1997. If you are just starting, go to a university such as Colorado State and take a look of the Introduction to PSS/E. Then you can formulate the right question and go to the manual for answers. Hope it helps.

Oh I like u ... ok I want to ask you if we can run PSSE and simulate search without using python in all the steps?
