PSS/E 36.4 - REGFMC1 & REPCGFMC1 Not in Model Library

asked 2026-03-31 04:55:48 -0500

Hi, I'm currently trying to utilize the REGFMC1 hybrid GFM/GFL inverter control model with the REPCGFMC1 plant controller model. The model library manual seems to include these models, and its referenced in the release notes, but doesn't seem to be available when adding the dynamics data for the respective models for renewable machines.

Is anyone else seeing this issue for this version of PSS/E 36.4? Are they hidden as user-defined models within the program files? Is this issue seen in newer versions of PSS/E (36.5/36.5.1)?

Thsee models are implemented as user defined models in PSSE, so you have to read the first model call with DYRE (or DYRE,ADD). After that, the PSSE-instance is aware of the model and the model can be added inside the GUI or with python API.
