Convert .sav from from v35 to seq+raw for v33.4

Hi friends, I'm currently using PSSE v33.4.0, while some of my colleagues are using v35. We frequently need to share study files (i.e., .sav files), but I encounter an issue because, although they provide me with RAW files generated from the v35 GUI for compatibility with v33, these RAW files lack sequential data. This makes it impossible for me to conduct single-phase-to-ground fault studies in v33.

I'm considering developing a Python script that can convert v35 .sav files into compatible RAW + SEQ files for v33.4. For this, I understand that v35 would need to be installed on the computer running the script.

Would it be feasible to install v35 on my system by copying the installation files from a colleague's installation (using their software CD) and copying all necessary directories for v35? I don’t have a dongle, so I wonder if I can simply copy/paste the required v35 files and folders to my computer and then use Python to convert v35 .sav files into RAW + SEQ files for use in v33.

Tell your colleagues to write a sequence data file in rev 33 format!
