Script for PV analysis

Hello all,

Since the psspy function PVengine6 doesn't work for me, I decided to create a script to make the PV analysis. But first, I wanted to ask something related to the type of busbar in the source and sink subsystem.

Most of the theoretical examples I see in books formulate the PV equations for a system with a generator and a load. But for more complex systems, I don't see any description of the details of the procedure to obtain the famous PV curves. I know that the first step is to define the source and the sink subsystems and that the power flows from the source to the sink. But internally, how does it work? I assume that all the plants on the sink subsystem don't increase their power generation through the process (they are converted from PV to PQ buses), or am I wrong?

Thanks!

Thanks!
