I had a question regarding the connection codes of auto- transformers. PSS/E documents state : Vector Group: YNa0 Type = Core CC= 18, Vector Group: YNa0 Type = Shell CC= 21 What is the difference between CC = 18 and CC = 21 ? 18 = Series path, ground on each side. 21 = Series path, no ground on each side. |

2021-07-27 09:51:59 -0500 | asked a question | Import zero sequence data into PSSE Our approach is as follows : 1) Create RAW, SEQ file from ASPEN. 2) Import files to PSSE and convert 3wdg to 2wdg 3) Flat Start all buses & convert all generators. 4) SCEQ (Sequence Reduction at the boundary buses). Issue : At SCEQ reduction step, many of our territory lines are deleted and replaced with equivalent lines X= 999.0 or new lines with X=999.0 are added in our territory.
