2021-06-17 17:04:55 -0500 answered a question how can I find PVGU1 or REGCAU1 dynamic generator models in PSSE 33.6 version ? is there is some initial parameters that i need to define and I have missed ?

Hello. How I add a model with U1 at the end as a dyre record? I can't know how to do this.

2021-06-06 10:59:17 -0500 asked a question Problem in initilization

When i replace a generator in IEEE-24 bus with a WT4 wind turbine and i do initilization it appears this problem:

Model IEEEX1 Bus 7 [BUS7 138.00] Machine "1 " : initialized out of limit(s) VR

Model IEEEX1 Bus 16 [BUS16 230.00] Machine "1 " : initialized out of limit(s) VR

Model IEEEX1 Bus 23 [BUS23 230.00] Machine "1 " : initialized out of limit(s) VR

Model IEESGO Bus 7 [BUS7 138.00] Machine "1 " : initialized out of limit(s) PMECH(I) CONTROL WT4E1 AT BUS 13 MACHINE 1 WRONG INITILIZATION: ACTIVE NET CURRENT 1.2663 EXCEEDS MAXIMUM 1.1100

How i can solve this problem? Thank you.

When i click OK is appeared this message https://prnt.sc/13d7vfm. So i think that this is ok.

Thank you Perololf. I don’t know where I can see if a shunt is added at the fault bus after the simulation.

When i put OK, the faulted bus is added in fixed switched. Only this happen.

Hello perolofl. I have the zero and negative sequence data in .sav file. When i choose "Calculate and apply unbalanced bus fault" in the dynamic simulation, R and X do not have values. What am i doing wrong?

I'm confused. How i understand that generators maintain synchronism during and after the fault? When i plot angles i take this result https://prnt.sc/134ydkd.%3C/p%3E (https://prnt.sc/134ydkd.)

I plotted the speed deviation for all generators and i noticed that they are not following each other when the fault occurs in a generator bus and the network is asynchronous.

The network I use is ieee 14 bus. When I trip a line at fault clearing, there is another line that connects this bus with the rest of the network.

2021-05-19 08:16:47 -0500 asked a question How i can do dynamic simulation and find Critical Clearing Time in PSS/E?

Hello, When I do dynamic simulation in PSS/E to find the critical clearing time I notice from channels plot that if a fault occurs in a bus with generator the network is asynchronous at any time I clear the fault and a line is tripped. On the contrary, when an fault occurs in any other bus, the system is permanently synchronized at any time I clear the fault. So i can not find the critical clearing time. Can someone explain to me why this is happening and what I am doing wrong?

Thank you jconto. However, in the files from your drive there are not values for the negative and zero sequence and so I can not calculate asymmetric errors. Can i use the same values with the positive sequence or is it wrong?
