What i mean is when i apply an slg in dynamic sim the system after the oscillations always synchronises, but when i add zf even when i run the fault for 1 cycle it always desynchronises. Do you want me to give you the file to check the slg?

The relative to the swing bus angle of the generator oscilates!! I find it quite odd because of that reason and i was wondering why that happens. The same thing happened in the savnw i got from jcondos drive. Is there a chance for my PSSE to malfunctioning? Or is it another problem?

I use it and i am getting the results i describe in the question. Is it data problem or something else happens? I check the results from the angle plotting. When i enter 0 reactance and resistance it always synchronises after the fault. If enter an non-0 value after the fault it desynchronises

Hello, I am trying to do a dynamic analysis for transient stability and i have the following problem: I want to check the transient stability when an SLG Fault happens. I have added the sequence data but when i do a (R,X) = (0,0) the system always synchronises. When i change the (R,X) to a value different than 0 the system is desynchronised. Why does this happen and is there something i can do for it?

Hello, i added a wind turbine generator,following a post here in a modified IEEE14 bus system. When i run a dynamic simulation with an unbalnced fault (X=0 pu and R=0 pu) at a bus and see the relative angle plot, the wind turbine angle in relation to the swing bus steadily decreases. I started the fault duration at 0.01 sec and it still happens the same. Why is that happening?

I have also tried replacing a generator with a wtg and still the same happens.

Make sure you have sequence data.

I don't use a code. I just run manually a slg for many seconds at bus 5!

Mr Conto, i run a dynamic simulation for the power system with an unbalanced fault. The system always stabilizes after the fault , even if the fault duration is over 5 sec. Is it normal? Shouldn't it have not after a big fault duration?

Mr Conto i found what the problem was. When i did power flow->solve it sai that Pgen was minus. After decreasing the wt from 100MW to 50MW, in the no-disturbance run everything is stable. Thank you for everything

I did like you said but i have a new problem. Hello, i am currently working in IEEE14 bus system and i added a wind turbine in order to study the transient stability. I inserted the wind turbine WT3G2 model and when i do a simulation i see the voltage of the wind turbine starting from 0.4 pu instead of 1 pu that it should have. Does anyone know why and what should i do?
