2023-01-16 05:06:00 -0500 | answered a question | How to model BESS in PSSE? Hello, WECCC has developped models for BESS : REPCA, REEC and REGC models. I am trying to join the guidebook but it doesn't seem to work. Kindly send me your e-mail adress. Best of luck. |
2020-05-03 12:30:17 -0500 | answered a question | how to model battery energy storage in load flow and cbest modelling? BESS storage are modelled as a renewable machine in load floaw study with Zsorce=99999. For dynamic simulation, check Psse manual PAGV2. Hope it will help |

2019-12-18 09:54:06 -0500 | asked a question | Use a .lib file on PSSE 34.6 and later Hello, i've received a .lib file for a user defined model created in PSSE 33. I am using PSSE 34.6 and would like to use the same model library. Do i need to convert it in a .dll file or can i use it ? I precise that i don't have the code used to generate the .lib file. |

2019-10-10 03:20:48 -0500 | answered a question | Decrase wind plant production following a ramp function Well finally found an answer to my question. PSSE generic model don't allow a wind speed modification. The only possibility is to act on pitch control which is not satisfying. As an alternative, GE wind turbine model has a wind gust ramp function (GEWTGDU1) which is perfect for me. |
2019-10-09 04:26:11 -0500 | asked a question | Decrase wind plant production following a ramp function Hi All, i am running dynamic simulation with wind power plants. Generic models used for the wind power plants are : REGCA1, REECA1 and REPCA1 for the plant controller. I would like to decrease the production of one the wind power plant following a ramp function. Any idea on how to start ? |
