However, geography scaling and centering only accept the range between 90 and -90. So, Updating geographical bus locations not working.

How can I solve this problem?

I'm trying to model for fuel cell & electrolyzer, heat pump (CHP), combined cycle in Transmission network.

I know that there are not contained in PSS/E model library.

However, I want to try to model them based on PSS/E generic model not UDM. Could you please recommend me finding an alternative model to express their dynamics?

Hello, I need to your advise to solve my problems.

I have been converting the psse data to pypower. However, I have some problems to solve the power flow.

I have to calculate values to 'real part of relative short-circuit voltage [%]', 'relative short-circuit voltage [%]', 'iron losses [kW] 'and 'open loop losses in [%]' using transformer data in PSS/E.

How can I get them? Plz, help me.

1. I want to know the parameters which decide ramp rate of generators in the wsieg1 and GGOV1 models of PSSE. I mean, which parameters are they decided ramp up/down rate of generators in the model, WSIEG1 and GGOV1 ?

2. I want to simulate for GGOV1 as secondary control during dynamic simulation. I found this website, if I want to simulate it, Pmws should be changed during dynamic simulation. In this point, I wonder about Kimw (power controller gain). If I entered the value as 0.01, they just follow supervisory load controller sepoint. Why didn't they respond to governor response?

Hello, I want to get some information about LCFB1 model. FYI, PSS/E version in my computer is 34 version.

I want to upload the block diagram of LCFB1 and Tables(VARs, ICON, CON) but I don't know how to do. Please refer to the manual.

My questions are..

1. Where is Pref0(VARs L+2) of the table on the block diagram? As far as I remember, Pmwset is supervisory controller but it is not Pref0 on this block diagram I think.

2. I want to set their Pgen of raw file to the power reference of LCFB1 model. Because some model references were set to Pmax. How can I do that?

3. Can I simulate the secondary frequency response through changing the var L+2 Pref0 in this model?

I modeled the governor in psse and then I monitored the it's reference through VAR value. But I don't know how to get the initial value before simulation. I tried to change the initial value of governor reference before it start to check the initialize. However, it changed again after initialize.

In addition, some governors set to the reference as their maximum power output but some governors reference set as their generation (Pgen). I want to know more detailed how to get it and change the initial value.

Plz, help me.

I try to modify a GGOV1 model. In GGOV1 model, I changed the deadband from 0 to 0.0006 (Is it correct? I want to input 36mHz for deadband) Anyway, When I try to modified. I can find the message "Model data contains warnings and/or errors. This could cause simulation errors or crashes".

My questions are below:

1. How can I solve above problem for message?
2. I tried to simulate, I ignored the message, It was ok. However, I tried to simulate again it (I saved the dynamic model), the generator's initial power was changed. Why does it happen? How can I solve it? I want to its initial power will be same with base case.

Is it available to drawing the droop curve (Power-Frequency curve) of governor in PSS/E?

I tried to model using GE wind in PSSE. My PSS/E version is 34.0.2

But It can't work when I tried to compile from 'psse command prompt'.

I didn't have those problem when I use PSSE 32 version.

How can I solve them?

I designed the model with LCFB1 and WSIEG1.

My question is...

1. If I try to change Gref to the model during dynamic simulation, Is the value of Pmwset in LCFB1 changed during the simulation?

2. I tried to extract the data using channel wizard, 'Gref' from the model, but there is no data from output file. I want to read the GV0 in WSIEG1, How can i read it?

I designed the governor model considering deadband and ramp rate(set the value on valve velocity pu/sec).

So, I want to check this model to validate the deadband and ramp rate of governor.

How can i test this model? Can I simulate use Grun(Governor response test)?

Can you tell me the method in detail? I never use Governor response test. So, I can't understand how to use it. (I already tried to read manual)
