Hi Everyone,
I have performed a dynamic simulation using a simple SMIB system to investigate the change of voltage after switching a shunt reactor into the system.
However, the bus voltage cannot recover to the original voltage level (ie. 1p.u.).

Is there any possible solutions to make the bus voltage to recovery to a desired voltage level ?
Thank you so much!

if I desire to use the four models: GENROU, EXST1, IEESGO and IEEEST for the generators, is there any method to increase the generator voltage output ?
Thank you so much!
