I am trying to use the openbuslocfile(buslocfile) API in PSSE32. However, I'm not sure what this Bus Location Data File is and where to get it or how to create it. Please help me out here! Thanks!!!

Hi,

I created the file, but when I load it (buscoords.loc), the buses do not shift in the *.sld file, even after updating in the diagram. I was expecting it to locate buses geographically.

The GUI Guide has information about the Bus Location File structure.

In short, unless someone on your team has created one, you'll have to make it yourself.

The file contains bus locations in x/y coordinates or GIS coordinates.

See Section 3.6.8 of the Gui Guide for a run-down of the format.
