I have a REPCTA model with the frequency droop enable, Fflag=1 and Dup=0 and Ddn=0. therefore, during a system frequency test the power does not response increasing or decreasing power as TSO comments: "The expected response for the generator would be for the real power output to remain constant during this simulation."

The TSo has tested Frequency response test too: "Low and high frequency conditions are imposed at the generator's point of interconnection". I imagine that the changes in frequency are perfomed at generator's bus deleting the REPCTA module. Is it correct? I have set a playback connected to the genertor bus by a ideal line and modified f between 60.2 and 59.8HZ but active power does not change. I have not seen anything in REECA linked to frequency. Nevertheless, the TSO has showed me a plot in which P changes. How is the test perfomed at the machine level?

Use PLBVFU1 model. This is a dynamic model that allows voltage and frequency signals to be varied. The model is attached to a slack bus generator and a frequency signal is an input to the model.

The renewable generator should respond to the changes in the frequency applied at the point of interconnection through the playback model. The response of the renewable generator is dependent on: dispatch level, frequency flag, and droop characteristics.

A playback model with appropriate dispatch of renewable unit should provide a frequency response.

When unit is dispatched at 100% no response appears for frequency decay events but there would always be a response for frequency rise events, since every unit should be able to lower its Pgen.

For a tool to test models in a SMIB+playback testbed, search the forum for "DMview", a Yunzhi's tool.
