Hi there,

What is the best way to disable GGOV1 governor and during the simulation manually enter setpoints as i am adding load for the generator? i am using PSAS to run my simulation..

What do you mean with disable GGOV1? Disabling a model in PSSE takes it out of service, and disabling GGOV1 would keep PMECH constant during the simulation. Do you want to change PMECH during the simulation?

Well i want to simulate a blackstart generator, meaning i want to disable the governor model and enter manual setpoints in the simulation for the generator instead of letting the governor adjust the pmech etc. i already disabled droop for the blackstart unit, however thats not the realistic scenario

You can use the method I proposed in post "Is it possible to change generator and load values in dynamic simulation?"

My intent was to disable droop. i realized i could disable droop control in the governor... solved my issue.
