Is it possible somehow to plot in dynamics simulation curve of switched shunt reactive power? Model is CSSCST

VAR(L+2) for this model can be included in your output simulation channels. find the VAR number for this VAR(L+2) of the model via DOCU/DLST and add it as a channel. This is the admittance (Y) of the switched shunt and you may want to do something with it in order to plot the reactive power.

I have problem to add VAR(l+2) to plot channel. Can you give me some points?

What specific problem is it? I agree with perolofl to plot the reactive power by method 2 described below.

As ffl wrote in his comment you can plot the admittance in VAR(L+2).

Reactive power Q can be plotted in two ways:

  1. Multiply the admittance with the voltage in square when plotting.
  2. Split the bus and move the switched shunt to the new bus. Add MW & Mvar channels for the zero impedance line inserted between the new bus and the original bus.

I prefer alternative 2.

thanks! I use method 2. But it when plotting, curve is showing near zero MVAr, but in static mode switched shunt gives about 65 MVar.

Is the shunt Mvar flowing on the monitored line? Did you add the correct line channel? You did something wrong.
