@elica what does your matlab file do? Is it a program, something to plot charts, dynamic models or something else?

it's a dynamic model of a controller... thank you in advance... sorry for being late...

PTI apparently used to have a function that would call a MATLAB model in version 30, but they have since dropped support of it. I believe the function was called USRMAT, but that is about all I know of it.

Hi Elica,

I hope someone else can help out if they have had some direct experience. But from what I know, the only way to integrate your Matlab file - which is a dynamic model of a controller - into PSSE is to re-write it in Fortran!

Does anyone else know any different? Is there a new method for getting a Matlab model to talk to the PSSE simulation?

Porting MATLAB models to another simulator seems to be a chore you just have to deal with. I've validated my share of models against their MATLAB equivalents.
