I try running dynamic simulation without any disturbances, it shows steady value for few seconds then suddenly all the parameters drastically increase causing divergence calculation with NaN value. all dynamic models shows no error in DOCU and STRT check so it's hard to tell what the parameter error is, could you suggest some troubleshooting methods?

I am working on a large transmission system with more than 50 generators, I used network data converted from Digsilent. The power flow solution is running seamlessly and shows the exact value with digsilent result, but the dynamic data just not working.

Unfortunately the conversion of data from DIgSILENT PowerFactory to PSS/E is not perfect. The first thing you should check after the conversion is that the power flow results match up in PowerFactory and PSS/E. Then, check that all of your dynamic models have been converted. Note that a DYR file created by PowerFactory will not include entries for dynamic models that are not found in the PSS/E library. Since you have 50 generators, you can check them one-by-one to see if all of the dynamic data has been converted. If all of the data has successfully converted then you might consider reducing the time step in PSS/E, and see if that helps.

thanks for the answer, the power flow shows almost the exact same with PowerFactory result, all the dynamic model also have been converted and checked with DOCU, could you please elaborate on how to reduce the time step?

Dynamics -> solution parameters -> Time Step
