I was trying to find the PTDF matrix in PSS/E but wasn't able to figure it out. The Dfax function calculates the OTDFbut not the PTDFs. I have tried differenct things from the manual like trying to run TLTG, SPIL. Please direct me in the appropriate direction.

Not sure what your end goal for a PTDF matrix is, but the pssarrays.sensitivityflowto_mw API calculates the flow impact of machines and loads to a specified branch.

The following posting "https://www.powerworld.com/files/TrainingI11LinearAnalysis.pdf" discusses those two concepts. You can also search the net for "ptdf calculation"

I'm afraid you may have to make a routine your self in Python to build PTDF matrix, extracting the data from PSS/E. The PTDF is based on Ybus matrix, reactance >> resistance, so all resistance in "R" column to zero "0". Then extract Ybus from PSS/E and work with it in Python to build the PTDF matrix. There could be other parameters than affect the construction of the Ybus, take care of it. I remember you can't build the PTDF matrix directly from PSS/E but the LODF. LODF can be build directly with a command.
