Is it possible to disable a machine in a dynamic composite load model while running dynamic simulation?

Hi,

Is there a way to disable and enable a motor in the composite load model (CMLDBU1) during dynamic simulation? I would like to observe the changes in the system due to machine stalling and recovery. CMLDBU1 is a user-written model that represent motors, power electronics, and static load.

Any comment/suggestion, I'll be really appreciated it :)

Thanks!

Perform sensitivity runs varying values for (most the) following parameters in the CMLDBU1 model (reference: MEPPI study):

FmD Motor D load fraction of total load

Stalling voltage threshold for the residential A/C motor (Motor D)

Vrst voltage level at with restart can occur

Percentage of Motor D that stalls and can recover

Tth, Motor D thermal time constant, sec.

Th1t, Motor D thermal protection trip start level, p.u. temperature

Th2t, Motor D thermal protection trip completion level, p.u. temperature

Fuvr fraction of Motor D loads with undervoltage relay protection

I am still be new to python and PSSE (this is my second weeks of learning them). Can I do sensitivity run on the gui? If not, is there any tutorial or sample code that I can learn from? Thanks!

There is no automatic way to do it. Just several runs changing one model parameter incrementally (+/-)
