Anyone have a sample SLG fault impedance that they could share with me? Thanks.

What kind of study are you doing? Short Circuit calculation or Dynamic Simulation?

To simulate an single line to ground fault in dynamic simulation you need to use a fault impedance equal to the Thevenin impedance in zero and negative sequence at the faulted bus.

If the saved case do not include sequence data you have to calculate the impedance yourself and enter the value (X0 + X2) as fault impedance. PSS/E do not model neqative and zero sequence in dynamic simulations, but the positive sequence voltage will be correct during the single line to ground fault.

If zero and negative sequence data are present in the case it is just to use disturbance "Calculate and apply unbalanced bus fault..." directly in the dynamic simulation, and PSS/E will calculate the equivalent fault impedance automatically.

Thank you very much for your answer. For line to ground fault dynamic simulation it'is clear. However, is there a method for dynamic simulation of a line-to-line fault?

Hello perolofl. I have the zero and negative sequence data in .sav file. When i choose "Calculate and apply unbalanced bus fault" in the dynamic simulation, R and X do not have values. What am i doing wrong?

Which R and X do not have values? Resistance and reactance of L-G fault impedance shall be 0 for solid faults. Is a shunt added at the faulted bus when you click OK?

When i put OK, the faulted bus is added in fixed switched. Only this happen.
