I would like to learn the commands and methods but cannot find a source other than psspy.org to learn more about automation of PSS/E using Python
For beginners, I suggest to learn first python as a language (outside of PSSE), in particular string processing and text file access. You can find several python tutorial sites on the net. After that, run the python code examples provided at the EXAMPLE folder, part of the psse installation.
Next, check the post "The tutorial steps for PSSE and Python for starters", also, search for 'python script' and study the code in the search listing output.
There is a book "PYTHON BASED POWER SYSTEM AUTOMATION IN PSS/E" Finally, constantly search the net for psse automation to catch new postings.
