Hello everyone, I am currently doing a project on voltage control simulation using psse. I am trying to simulate a bus system and obtain the load voltage according to time with different generator power factor. The problem is, I am not familiar with the software. I have followed some tutorials online but most of the tutorials are on power flow. Can anyone give some tips, or tutorials for the project? Any help will be highly appreciated.

If your "project on voltage control simulation" requires dynamic simulation, then see my post at "Is this IEEE 39 bus dyr file right?", which has a link to download the ieee 39-bus dynamic data set. It also has scripts that will help you run and plot. Please review and get familiar with the different command (PSSe activities) needed to convert a case, read a dyr file and create a snp file, add channels for variable monitoring and plotting, and execute a run. If your project does not require dynamic simulation, then get familiar with the menus in PSSe and perform your study manually by selecting the appropriate PSSe activities: load a case, set Gen pf by changing its Qgen, produce list of voltage violations. And then repeat those PSSe activities with the 'recorder' activated to create a script of your study.
