During dynamic simulation in the output bar appears message: "Network not converged at TIME" but the simulation doesn't stop. How can I solve this problem?

Since I dont have dynamic data for all generators in the network, I had to turn some of the generators off, and replace them with loads by the equivalence network ('Net generation with load'). I realized that 'Network not converged' appears when I replace generations with loads, but in the example in PSSe, when I use sawn files, everything is OK, because I use the dynamics parameters for all generators. The question is: do I need to have the dynamic parameters for all generators?

Any suggestions would be helpful.

In short, yes. Machine dynamics are the most influential in the overall system dynamic response. The GNETing ('net generation with load') of some unit may be OK if their location are far from the region under study. Generator owner should provide the machine's models.

If this error message occurs at the beginning of the run, without any fault applied, then chances are the dynamic set up is corrupted. Pick up the original case, solve it, add dynamic data and perform a no-disturbance test. You should get flat lines for all channels with deviation error smaller than 1e-2. You can also applied a fault and clear it with no tripping of network elements (ringdown test)

If this error message occurs after a fault was applied, then check if the fault has been cleared! Otherwise, the case is in 'collapse' mode unable to converged. Try to run with a less severe fault (lower the fault time or minimum tripping of network elements) until you get a proper run without such message.

Let us know what you find.
