Hello everyone,
I would like to model Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) connected to the grid using PSS®E version 33.4. Could someone please provide me with the typical models that are commonly used for this purpose?

Based on my research, I have understood that in PSS®E v33.4 the standard way to model a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) is by combining three dynamic models: REGCAU1 (converter interface), REECAU1 (electrical control), and REPCAU1 (plant-level control). An optional model, ESSTU1, exists but is less commonly used compared to the REGCAU1 + REECAU1 + REPCAU1 setup.

I would like to ask if there are any experts or experienced users who have actually worked with these models for BESS systems in PSS®E v33.4, and if they could share their insights or practical experiences.
