When I open my user written models in v35.3 it gets open, but when I am trying to add them in my library in v36.1 it is not getting added. Is there anyway to convert them?

DLL for rev 35 can only be used in rev 35. The models (source codes) must be converted to rev 36 source format with VINDP and then compiled and linked for rev 36. VINDP is included in the Environment Manager for rev 36.

From rev 36 the DLL files will be version independent. A DLL for rev 36 can be used in rev 37, rev 38 etc.

Can you please guide me the whole process for converting it from v35 to v36? As I am working on it and my dll files are becoming the only hurdle.

Have you written the user models?

No, I just received the .dll which were compiled on v35.6 and I have v36. Now I need to convert it.

It is not possible, As I wrote the source code must be converted and then compiled and linked in rev 36.

Tell the supplier to compile and link in rev 36!
